Fully Stabilized Zirconia (FSZ)

Fully stabilized Zirconia adds more additives (MgO, CaO or Y2O3 ) than PSZ. The structure becomes totally cubic phase even at room temperature. Because its high oxygen ion conductivity, fully stabilized ZrO2 is also used as the key electrolyte in oxygen sensor and SOFC (solid oxide full cell). ■
