Introduction of Zirconia

Zirconia is a refractory material, Chemically, it belongs to fourth group of the periodic table, situated between titanium (Ti) and hafnium (Hf). Significant advances have occurred since 1970’s in understanding the science and technology of Zirconia. In ceramic industry, the new class oxides have been tested and applied successfully in modern industry as reliable, high-performance materials. ■
