Feedstocks for Precision

Molding The ultimate goals of the manufacturing of ZrO2 parts by various shaping methods are dimensional reproducibility and sintered density. That is because the machining of the ZrO2 is very costly. Precision forming techniques (e.g. precision injection molding) combined with good feedstocks are necessary. In order to achieve tight dimension control and good sinterability, the ZrO2 feedstocks with good dispersive and uniform properties are offered by Sunward. The state of the art grants that the solid loading of the feedstocks can be optimized to meet the requirements of the volume shrinkage after densification. In addition, the variation of sintering shrinkage is small due to the quality of the feedstocks. ■
